The J Mullins Story
J Mullins Jewelry & Gifts has been a staple of the Rutherford County community since 1938.
Read about our story and learn how we have had continuous success for over 8 decades.
In 1938, Mullins Jewelry opened on the Murfreesboro Public Square, serving the Rutherford County Community for over 70 years. Owners James Hershel Mullins and his wife Mildred, helped many in our community create special memories through the jewelry they created and sold.
The business passed to son, Charles, a watchmaker, and after deciding to retire, the fate of Mullins was left to grandson, Jeff, who decided to continue the Mullins legacy by opening his own store. In 2010, J Mullins Jewelry opened on Northfield Blvd in Murfreesboro.
Today, J Mullins Jewelry faces different challenges than it did 70 years ago, competing with mass market jewelry stores and on-line shopping. Jeff and his team have continued success by offering its customers superior customer service, a personal experience, unique product and custom offerings.
