In 1938, Mullins Jewelry opened on the Murfreesboro Public Square, serving the Rutherford County Community for over 70 years. Owners James Hershel Mullins and his wife Mildred helped many in our community create special memories through the jewelry they created and sold.
The business passed to his son, Charles, a watchmaker, and after deciding to retire, the fate of Mullins was left to grandson Jeff who decided to continue the Mullins legacy by opening his store. In 2010, J Mullins Jewelry opened on Northfield Blvd. in Murfreesboro.
Today, J. Mullins Jewelry & Gifts faces different challenges than it did 70 years ago, competing with mass-market jewelry stores and online shopping. Tim and his team have continued success by offering its clients superior customer service, a personal experience, unique products and custom offerings.
